He was a member of Carpenters for Christ, Leeds Masonic Lodge, longtime member of First Baptist Church in Leeds and a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Howard retired from Hayes aircraft after 40 years.
Mr. Howard is survived by his wife, Lynette Howard, daughters, Janet Leah Payne (John C.), Lisa Ann Mitchell (Bart), and Dana Lee Karr (Marty), son, Ronald LeRoy Howard (Susan), grandchildren, Tiffiny Skyles, Michael Howard, Zac Payne, Nick Payne, Cory Mitchell, Haley Raymond, Josh Mize, Melissa Eddy, and Brett Karr as well as nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial at Lawley’s Chapel in Pell City.
