Lois A. Coleman

Mrs. Coleman is preceded in death by her husband, Barney M. Coleman, daughter, Susan Bailey, parents, William and Armer Lee Armstrong, sisters, Olene Payton and Velma Maddox, brother, Preston, PT Buster and Jack Armstrong, and step son, Gene Coleman.

She was a member of New Lebanon Baptist Church as well as a member of the Eastern Star. She was a retired mail carrier for several years and was also the secretary for Sportsman Lake.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Stone, brothers, William Armstrong “Charles” (Barbara), and Samuel Ray Armstrong, step son, Bobby Coleman (Beverly) grandchildren, Carly Bailey and Brandy L. Bailey and great grandchildren, Jaylen Leonard, Kiyan Hill, and Jacob Lucas as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 12 Noon until 2:00PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds. Funeral service will be at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds Chapel on Sunday, September 30, 2012 beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at New Lebanon Cemetery in Springville, AL.

Pallbearers will be Don Payton, Jeff Armstrong, Jack Armstrong, Phillip Armstrong, Weslee Franklin and Mark Falletta.
