Marion Edward Harless

Marion “Eddie” Harless, age 61 of Moody, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Eula Mae Harless. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jackie Cash Harless; son, Daniel Harless; mom and dad, Lynn and Steve Kopp; sister, Kerri Morthland (Martin); brother, Jason Kopp (Kristy); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Eddie was a fun spirited soul who loved to laugh and joke. An avid outdoorsman, he spent his free time hunting, fishing, golfing and relaxing at the lake. However, the time he spent coaching the kids over the years was his favorite way to spend his time. He loved his family and friends with every ounce of his being and would be the first to show up to lend a hand for anyone who needed it. Eddie was loved by many and he will be deeply missed. Services for Eddie will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094 with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM in the chapel.
