Martha Marie A. Carr

She was preceded by her former husband and father of her four children, Jack Selman Angrisano. Also, her parents, Joseph Maurice Katz and Anna Belle Woolley, both of Leeds. Martha was a long time resident of Leeds and a 1961 Leeds High Graduate. She was a member of St. Theresa in Leeds. Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. John Bosco/Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Martha spent most of her life as an LPN, taking care of the sick and elderly as a private duty nurse. She later worked as an OB/GYN Nurse for years, which she had the pleasure of delivering her first grandchild. She helped those in their waning years, and helped bring new babies into the world. She never put herself first and sacrificed herself for her children whom she valued more than life, and what was left over she gave to others. Life was often difficult for her, but she valued and loved what she had. She was a loving mother and friend, and will be sorely missed and always remembered.

She is survived by her husband, James Carr, her four children, Tracy Howard Angrisano, Timothy Wayne Angrisano, Jennifer Denise Angrisano, Mary Elizabeth Angrisano Ladner, step-daughters, Kim Higginbotham, Tammy Duncan, brother, Joseph Katz Jr., sister, Norah Hollis. Her grandchildren include, Anthony Angrisano, Krista Bailey, Alanna Angrisano, Anna Marie Angrisano, April Hyde, Jeri Ann Angrisano, Joseph Angrisano, Jack Ladner. Her great grandchildren are Brooklyn Bailey and Jamie Rose Crimm.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Leeds.
