She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Banks; son, Steven Ray Banks, mother, Maggie Mae Thacker and her father, William C. Thacker.
Mary is survived by her son, Curtis Eugene (Judy); daughters: Sandra Chappell (Carl), & Donna Coleman (Jimmy); grandchildren: Christopher Chappell (Nicole), Kristie Fuller, Stephanie Vevle (Billy), Shawn Banks, Lee Banks, Wendy Foreman (Brian), and Samantha Banks; 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, special niece and third daughter, Linda Yitram (Vira); and special friends: Odie Vann & Marie & Ottis Peoples.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 23, 2013 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Graveside Service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Low Gap Cemetery in Odenville.
