Mary Gurley

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Allen, daughter Rebecca Bace, grandson Joey Bace, parents and 5 brothers.

Educated as a teacher in Japan, she came to the United States in 1954 and moved to Leeds in 1962. She was a long time member of Leeds First Baptist Church.

Survivors include children Margaret Woodall (Mike), Martha Belcher (Mark), George Gurley (Lee), Susan Rolli (Michael), Jane Bobba (Al), and Rachel Lamb (Bruce); 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and sister Tokuko Hara of Fukuoka Japan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 11:30AM until 1:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Green's Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland, AL.

Grandsons Nathan & Danny Belcher, Paul & Zachary Sanders, and Will & Max Gurley will be pallbearers.

Officiating services will be Pastor Steven Weems
