Mary Evelyn Blankenship Stinson, age 84 was born on November 27, 1940 and passed away on November 25, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Delaine Blankenship. He was her best friend and the absolute love of her life. She is also preceded by her second husband James Stinson. Her parents Curtis Taylor and Lassie Dollar Taylor. Her sister, Martha Ann Taylor Dean. She is survived by her daughter Terri Giles (Patrick). Her grandchildren Seth Giles (Isabella) and Emma Giles Morris (Christian). Her brothers Wayne Taylor (Cookie) and Lynn Taylor (Denice). She was known as Auntie and Aunt Mary Evelyn to her nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of Moody. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend. To know her was to love her. She will be missed terribly. A Visitation will be held on Sunday November 30, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
