Mavis is survived by her daughter, Penny Newton; son, Joey Palmer (Myra); grandchildren, Lyndsey (Blake), Landan (Krissy), Logan (Kane), Lance (Nicole), and Cody (Emily); great grandchildren, Addison, Callie, Emory, Dylan,Hazel, Miles, Colton and Addilynn, .
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 1:30PM to 2:30PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 2:30PM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
