Mr. Elders was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Nina Elders and brother, Edward Elders.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Elders, daughters, Linda Collins (James), Regina McDonald (Michael), son, Leonard Elders, brothers, Lewis Elders, Jesse Elders, Kenneth Elders, Lowell Elders, grandchildren, Jaime Garris, Justin Collins, Robin Taylor, Sandra Spencer, Jesse Elders, Andy Elders, Katie Elders, Christopher Ball great grandchildren, Aiden Garris, Autumn Renee Spencer, Zachary Cole Spencer, Emily Page Spencer, John Daniel Taylor and Kaylie Collins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham.
