Patti Coker Parker

Patti Lynn Parker, 71, of Odenville, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2025. Patti was born March 17, 1954, and was a beloved mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working outside planting and growing flowers. It was one of her favorite things to do. She also enjoyed decorating and getting together with family and friends for holidays. Her family said, ‘she could make a mean chili’ and was always ready for a get-together to enjoy it.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarice and James Coker and her son, Jimmy Coker. Patti is survived by her daughter Stacey (Kevin) Peoples; her son, Shane Parker; sister Susan Nuss (Curtis) and brother Robert (Kay) Coker; two grandchildren Evan and Alley Parker.

Remembering Patti, the family is leaning on these verses: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.” 2 Timothy 4: 7,8

Visitation for Mrs. Parker will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 am with the funeral to immediately follow at 11:00 with Frank Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
