He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cynthia Kersey Ingram, and three children, Kristy Ingram Gray; Stephanie Ingram Rogers (James); and Clay Ingram (Amy); Mother, Lorene Ingram; Brothers, Richard and Darren Ingram; Sisters, Susan Raney and Nancy Cargile; and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving "Pop Pop" to grandchildren Beth, Taylor and Reed Rogers.
He is preceded in death by father, Delmer "Red" Ingram, and his precious granddaughter, Helen Marie Gray. Phil spent his entire career working alongside his father at Auto & Diesel Machinist in Birmingham, a family owned business. Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015, Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds, AL at 10:00 a.m., with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at same location. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Leeds, AL.
