

Phillip Clyde Reynolds, age 93, of Moody, Alabama, died at UAB St. Vincent's East, Birmingham, Alabama, December 23, 2025. Born August 4, 1932 in Birmingham, AL to his parents Joe H. Reynolds and Irene Ballard Reynolds. He graduated Valley High School in 1950. He was married to Rozelle Smith for 50 years, and was married to Shirley Christie for 18 years.
He was a member of Moody 1st Baptist, earlier years Green Acres Baptist where his served as a Deacon, Royal Ambassador Leader and Food Closet Coordinator. He sang in the Glee Club, the church choir and the Evangeliers Quartet.
His career as a Commercial Artist at Gualtney Advertising Displays until his retirement.
He was known for Chalk Talks at church and hobbies of oil painting Jesus, birds and wildlife.
He loved to run a trot line at Lake Martin.
Predeceased by his parents and wives, daughter Nancy Bales, son-in-laws Marc Underwood, James Wilkins, and Ed Bales. His sister Mary Jo Waters, His brothers Jack(Margaret), Fred(Christine) and Bobby(Marge Ann) Reynolds.

Twelve Great Grandchildren, Six Great Great Grandchildren. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00pm at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Rd., Leeds, AL 35094. Graveside Service at 2:00 Highland Memorial Gardens, Bessemer, AL.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Next Generation Fund at First Baptist Church of Moody.
