Mr. Whitfield is preceded in death by his parents Herdis & Virgie Whitfield; sister, Margie Whitfield; son Clay Whitfield.
Mr. Whitfield is survived by his wife, Margene Whitfield; daughters, Pamela and Tina; sons,Phillip (Rhonda), Harlan (Laurie); grandchildren, Taryn Baucom, Raegan Whitfield, Zachary Baucom, Davis Whitfield, Victoria Whitfield; great-grandchildren, Kellan, Charlotte, Nora Lathon.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds from 6:00PM until 8PM.
Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Dunnavant Faith Baptist Church with burial at Lawley’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Whitfield will Lie In State at the Church on Monday beginning at 1PM.
