Wayne is survived by his loving companion of 12 years, Denise Schoelhammer; daughter, Tammy Brasher; son, Carl E. Brasher (Nicole); grandchildren, Jeffrey Hester, Jeremy Hester, Chase Brasher, and Mitchell Kidd; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Inez Hamby, Barbra Smith, and Estel Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Vandiver, AL from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at the adjoining cemetery.
