Robert Michael Davis

Robert Michael Davis, age 74, of Ashville, Alabama was called home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023. He was raised in Irondale, Alabama, one of four children. Mike retired from PEMCO Aeroplex and Honda Manufacturing Company, he also served in the United States Army. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, John D. Davis and Mildred M. Davis; brothers, Kenneth Davis, John Wayne Davis; sister, Norma Davis Bush.

Mike is survived by the love of his life and best friend Donna Davis of 37 years, daughters, Kimberly Ryan, Kristy Swearengin (Rickey), Hailee Waites, Amy Harrington (Jack), son, Jeff Davis, grandchildren, Michael Swearengin (Paige), Mason Swearengin, Landon Fitts, Caidyn Harrington, Skilyr Harrington; great grandchildren, Allie and Ira Swearengin; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He will be remembered by his family as a living selfless husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who was always there to lend a helping hand.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to John Alfano and Sheila McCany with VA Mental Health and to Lisa White and Hannah Beardslee with hospice Southern Care New Beacon.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Irondale, Alabama. Scott Gross will officiate, pallbearers will be Robby Franklin, Steve Gross, Jeff Davis, Michael Swearengin, Mason Swearengin, Landon Fitts and Caidyn Harrington.
