He is preceded in death by his son, Barry J. Bailey; brothers, Joe Bailey, Ernest Bailey, JC Crenshaw, Allie C. Bailey, JR Bailey, and Owen Bailey; sisters, Betty Harris, Ellen George and Margie Harris.

Roger is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol A. Bailey of Leeds, AL; sons, Michael R. Bailey (Melinda) of Cook Springs, AL and daughter in law, Gloria Bailey Pounds (Don) of Pinson, AL; grandsons, Joshua Bailey (Aimee) of Highland, NC, Daniel J. Bailey (Jessie) of Lehi, Utah and Adam J. Bailey (Brooke) of Pinson, AL; great grandsons, Braxton Bailey, Barrett Bailey, and Levi Bailey; brother, Jack Bailey of Leeds, AL; sisters, Marie Isbell of Fairhope, AL and Glenda Finley (Scott) of Panama City, Florida.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 3:00PM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
