Funeral services will be Monday, September 21 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds with visitation at 10 am and a chapel service at 11 am. Burial will be at Forest Crest Cemetery. Services will be led by Sammy’s pastor, Reverend Billy Abrams of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Leeds.
Sammy is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Wilma Reynolds and his infant granddaughter, Sarah Ann Ball.
Sammy is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Patricia Reynolds of Leeds; his daughters, Julie Nonnengard of Birmingham, AL and Dana Ball (Michael) of Orlando, FL; his siblings, Jean Cannon of Vestavia, AL, Una Faye Douglas of Calcis, AL and Donald Reynolds (Linda) of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by six grandchildren, the loves of his life: Olivia Nonnengard and Joshua Nonnengard of Birmingham, AL and Nathanial Ball, Julia Ball, Wenxin Ball, and Katherine Ball of Orlando, FL.
