Sena Elizabeth “Betty” Rumford Floyd, age 88 of Moody passed away on October 6, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Louis Floyd, sisters, Marie Mueller and Charlotte Ruth Freauff, brother, Lee Rumford, and granddaughter, Nichole Renee Floyd.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by her sons, Michael H. Floyd (Bonnie), Robert Earl Floyd (Jane), David C. Floyd (Maryann), and Ronald A. Floyd, grandchildren, Sena Magill (Tyler), Heather Baruch, Hilary Matheney (Jason), Chris Floyd (Kelly), Erin Norton (Andy), Morgan Floyd, and Evan Floyd (Leigh), (14) great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer.
