Sidney "Pete" David Watson, age 61, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Lilly Mae Watson, father William "Bill " Perry Watson Sr., and sister Carol Lynn Watson. Pete is survived by his dedicated wife Elizabeth "Mae" Watson whom he cherished, and his brother William "Bo" Perry Watson Jr. Also by his devoted sons Brennan ( Lucie ) Watson, and Parker Watson. He had five beautiful grandchildren Macy, Molly, Sadie, Phoenix, and Tony. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Pete was brilliant and led an extraordinary life. He loved loud music, was a prankster and was happiest outside on his land or tinkering with his vehicles. He jokingly called them his giant matchbox cars and was known for his hobby of dabbling with them. A memorial service will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Friday June 10th from 2 to 3 pm for friends and family. Flowers are welcome, but other contributions can be donated to Camp Seale Harris (southeastern diabetes education services).
