Born and raised in Blount County, Steve served in the Army 1975 to 1979. Steve enjoyed fishing and never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife Sandra, son Chris (Nikkita), daughter Staci Hurt (Jonathan), grandchildren Noah, Isabella, Eliana and Hampton, brother Sammy Harden (Lamona), sister Patricia Shamburger (Leroy) ; multiple nephews, nieces and family members.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10am to 11am at Leeds First United Methodist Church with a funeral service to follow. Graveside will be held at 2:30pm at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Altoona, AL.
