Virginia Ruth Bailey, age 92, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Virginia was born February 3, 1930. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Lena Adams; sons, Gary Bailey and Perry Bailey; daughter-in-law, Jenny Bailey. She is survived by her husband, John "Wesley" Bailey; children, Carol Bailey Webster (Tommy) and John Bailey; grandchildren, Gene (Renee) Webster, Shane Bailey, Alicia (Chad) Forbus, Carl (Alicia) Bailey, Craig (Misty) Bailey, Bridgette Bailey and Chris (Ariel) Bailey. A host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama and she loved sewing and cooking for her family. A visitation will be held on Saturday April, 23, 2022 from 1:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
