Alvin Locke

Alvin Locke was a native and lifelong resident of Anacoco, LA. He served in the U.S Army during WWII as a Medical Technician. Mr. Locke had previously worked as a Truck Driver for Pigley Wigley for 15 years and later for Harrelson Tie and Lumber Company as a Truck Driver.

Survivors include his loving wife, Avis Locke of Anacoco, LA; daughter, Norma Cammack and husband David of Leander, LA; Grandchildren: Natasha Prichard, Andy Jackson, Ashton Locke, Dwayne Locke, and Tobin Michel; and 6 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Carman Locke in 2002.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville from 10:00 a.m until service time. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m in the Chapel at Hixson Funeral Home with Wesley Harrelson officiating.
