Bennie Errol Jarrell

Mr. Bennie E. Jarrell, 72, of Leesville, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born on November 14, 1943, to R.D. Jarrell and Edith Hodges Jarrell in Leesville, LA. Bennie was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish and a graduate of Pickering High School. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, and he loved to bass fish. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. “Dude” Jarrell, and Edith Hodges Jarrell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Cindy Jarrell; son, Pat Higgins and wife, Shirley; daughters, Kim Ackley and husband, Bryan, Beth Green and husband, Pat; brothers, Robert “Davis” Jarrell and wife, Glenda, and Kenneth Jarrell and wife, Dorinda; sister, Dorrell Brister; grandchildren, Randen Duncan, Miranda Bonesteel, Christine King, Arianne Bauer, Lauren Ackley, Tristan Green and Alyssa Green; great – grandchildren, Raidon, Reina, Ryan, Jacob, Annabell, Addison, Oliver and Bowen.

Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2016, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville, LA. Graveside Services will be Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 10 AM in the Evans Cemetery, Evans, LA. Father Bill Phillips will be officiating.
