Douglas L. Pierce

Douglas was a Staff Sgt. with the United States Army and retired after 20 years of faithful service. He was the owner of OK Repair where he fixed airconditioners and ice machines around the parish.

Survived by Sisters: Elaine Kaiser of Mead, Washington, Susanne Needham of Spokane, Washington, Cecelia Maddox of Spokane, Washington; Cousin: Leroy Linton of Newport, Washington; Aunts, Uncles, and many neices and nephews. Good friends: Lawrence Trahan and Felicia Thibodeaux

Visitation for Douglas will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 10:00 in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville with Military Honors and under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
