Josephine Barber Davis

Josephine was born in Vernon Parish on December 10, 1928, to Henry Pink Barber and Mary Williams Barber of Vernon Parish.

Josephine was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. She loved her family dearly; she will be missed by all.

Josephine is preceded in death by her husband, Harley L. Davis, parents, Henry Pink Barber and Mary WilliamsBarber, daughter, Denise Davis, grandson, David Davis and great grand-daughter Blair Alyse Davis.

Josephine is survived by sons, Donald Davis and wife, Shirley, of Houston, TX, Darwin Davis and wife, Ginger, of Lafayette, LA and Dennis Davis and wife, Veva, of Moss Bluff, LA,sister, Norma Bean of Orange, TX, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, May 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Father Kenneth Michiels will be officiating. Services under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
