Richmond Vincent Harrell

Richmond Vincent Harrell, 85, of Anacoco, Louisiana entered eternal peace on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Mr. Harrell was retired from the U.S. Army and a Vietnam War veteran. He was born in Long Island, New York on April 14, 1930 to Calvin and Harriet Harrell. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Harrell has called Vernon Parish home for the past 35 years.

Mr. Harrell was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Harriet Harrell. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Teruko Sakuma Harrell, of Anacoco, LA; one brother, Jerry Harrell and wife, Caroline; three sisters, Ann Wesley and husband, George, Felice Lorenze, Kane Spike and Ida Peter.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 from 12 O’clock noon until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA. Interment will follow in Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
