Carol A. Rodgers passed away on Oct. 29, 2010 at the age of 71. Orginally from Rutherford, N.J. she moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1973, then moved to Lehigh Acres in 1998. She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Albert Gunther. She is survived by her husband, Leo Rodgers; two sisters, Susan Beaty of Belpre, Ohio and Valerie Samek of Highland Lakes, N.J.; two children, Carol Marie Whitfield of Louisville, KY and Robert Kruse of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren, Kristi Kruse, Karly Kruse of Huntsville, AL and Carolee Sanquedolce of Louisville, KY; one great granddaughter, Kayla Collings of Louisville, KY. Carol was active in Lehigh Acres Women of The Moose Chapter 1324. She also loved to play bingo. Arrangements under the direction of Farley Funeral Home, Lehigh Acres, FL.
