Dorothy Ann Ratz

Dorothy Ann Ratz 73, a Lehigh Acres resident of 34 years died January 5, 2012. She was born in Detroit, MI on June 25, 1938. She is survived by her 7 children Stephen Ratz, Theresa Ratz-Sears, Edward Ratz, Robert Ratz, John Ratz , James Ratz and William Ratz; a sister Mary Clement; a sister in law Carol Pierpont; and 19 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents William & Mary Pierpont, a brother William Jr.; a son Gregory Ratz; and 3 granddaughters Aleisa, Savananah and Faith Ratz.

Aside from spending time with family and friends she enjoyed attending services at Blessed Pope John XXIII Church, bingo,painting ceramics, crossword puzzles, and events at the Elk's.

Visitation will be on Monday January 9, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the funeral home 1100 Lee Blvd. Lehigh Acres, and from 10 to 11am on Tuesday January 10 th at Blessed Pope John XXIII Church 13060 Palomino Ln. Ft. Myers, with the Funeral Mass following.
