Bill and I were classmates going all the way back to junior high through high school. He was my best friend in 8th grade, and we had so much fun in class, always making each other laugh.  Bill was a Trenton Times delivery guy, and his route was huge.  I delivered the Trentonian and my route was small.  We always teased one another about which was the better newspaper, with neither of us giving in to the other.  Bill was also a big Phillies fan and myself, a big Yankee fan, and we argued constantly over who had the better team. 

Bill was extremely gifted in so many different ways.  He was by far the smartest guy in our class, investing money in the stock market at the age of 13, (he tried (unsuccessfully) to teach me this skill).  I remember him as a straight A student, being particularly adept in science…..he once drew a schematic of a television on the blackboard, and explained how the electronics worked behind the scenes…..our class had its mouth wide open, as though he was speaking another language!  Just as others have written that Bill was somewhat of a mentor to them, I always remember him wanting to help others…he was the smart guy who unselfishly reveled in passing his knowledge on.

I remember in our English class, in a creative writing assignment, I wrote a story that was a parody of Bill that I called “Bull Yenner” (a take on Yul Brenner).  When our teacher read it to the class, Bill turned so red-faced and always vowed he would get even with me!  Later that year, I was singing in the Mixed-Chorus on stage (front row), and Bill was in the front row of the audience, making fun of me (in a gentle way, but just enough so that my face was beat red)....the slate was cleared....we were even once again – LOL!)

I had only seen him a handful of times since graduation, but when I heard of his passing, I had to lie down on my bed in sadness for several hours.  Another classmate wrote how the bond we share with others never dies, and, as true as that is, when you lose a person as high quality as Bill, you lose a little bit of yourself as well.  I am so glad having had the opportunity to share laughter with Bill, and call him my friend.  He was all about smiles, laughter, and helping others....most definitely a once-in-a-lifetime kind of guy!  My condolences and prayers to the Yenny family at this very difficult time!

Bill Yenny what to say, nothing comes to mind other than the awesome time we had at my parents wedding when I was 7. Even though I was young I remember everything that we did the running late to the wedding oixtures bc it was so hot and we needed a drink to getting lost getting to the reception hall. May you rest easy now and go with the angels and look over us all and keep us safe.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  Was a classmate of his.  May he rest in peace.

My sister and I were his friend in school. As a matter of fact, my sister had a crush on him.  He was a great person, a great friend.  We both will miss him a lot.  Very sad, I hope he didn't suffer, he didn't deserve it  We love him  God Bless him and your family

Dear Mr.and Mrs.Yenny,Wayne and Gary. You have my deepest condolences. Billy was like a brother to me. I am deeply sadden by his passing and will miss the great friendship he has showed me. In all the years we knew each other every time we got together was an emotional one. Love always!

To The Yenny family,
We are at a loss here in Trenton N.J. My wife and I spoke to Billy often. I grew up with all the Yenny boys and only have the best of memories. Billy worked hard in school and for the community as a White Horse fireman. He was always there for me as a kid growing up. Billy was about 4 years my senior and would take us hunting, fishing in Cape May and cruising in his Road Runner. Billy always encouraged me to pursue college, which I did. He told me I'd have a degree on the wall just like him, and It happened with his support and encouragement. This will take us time. We spoke with him recently, and he was his laughable, fun, self, making us laugh. Glad we got that last call, will be memorable.  May strength be with the Yenny family. Billy and Ronnie will always be in my thoughts.

To the Yenny family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  

Even though I've not seen Bill in over 30 years, he had a influence on me at an early age.  My condolences to all of you and my prayers will be with you for your loss.
