Eleanor Elizabeth Foley, passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2020 in El Cajon, California, in her 99th year. Eleanor was born December 25, 1921 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Annie (Wilson) Burkitt and Frederick Burkitt. Beloved wife of Joseph Foley, deceased.
Eleanor is survived by; daughter Shelagh Foley; granddaughter's, Bridget Bryan, Sarah Hager, Leagh Foley, grandson's, Adam Foley and Jacob Foley, many great grandchildren and cousin Maggie Creighton. Eleanor was predeceased by her son William Foley.
Eleanor will always be remembered and sadly missed by her special friends Patricia and Peter Simpson and family, Nancy Simpson, Sherry Wharff, Donnett Homen, and Ray Smith. Predeceased by life long friends Catherine and Charles Simpson. Eleanor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service for Eleanor will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop, San Diego, CA 92106.
