Born in Boise, Idaho, passed away on April 29, 2015 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her daughter Heidi Boulter and Heidi's husband Tom Boulter of La Mesa and her daughter Cindy Shanley of San Diego.
Helen is also survived by 3 grandchildren Cori Herrera of San Diego, Cole Avenetti of Chandler, Arizona and Lauren Avenetti of San Diego; and by 2 great grandchildren James Maddela of Hawaii and Alexandra Avenetti of San Diego, California.
Helen was preceded in death by her 16-year old son Lawrence Patrick Shanley III on March 19, 1965 and by her husband Lawrence Patrick Shanley Jr. on January 11, 2006. helen will be interred with them on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
