Annie Grace Faulkenberry Fail

Mrs. Fail was the daughter of the late Walter Ernest Faulkenberry and Mattie Blanche Thorne Faulkenberry. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lenoir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Dr. Philip Jackson Fail, MD and a daughter Julia Estelle Fail Mikeal

Survivors include her sons, Philip McIntosh Fail of Monks Corner, SC and Sidney Leonard Fail and wife Cassa of Lenoir; her daughters, Monte Willis and husband Keith of Lenoir and Anna Gentile and husband Tony of Sullivan’s Island, SC; her brothers, Ernest Calvin Faulkenberry of Columbia, SC and Walter Lemuel Faulkenberry of Houston, TX; a step-brother David Jackson Watkins of Columbia, SC; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock with Chaplain Delbert Minner officiating.
