

Mrs. Rinehardt was born August 30, 1941 in Caldwell County to the late Symon Mack Hood and Patsey Shell Hood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tiffany Rinehardt, brothers, John Hood, Billy Hood, Clarence June” Hood, Joe Hood, Sonny Hood, Carlos “Sunshine” Hood, Arthur June Harshaw, sisters, Edna Corpening, Peggy Corpening and Joyce Mae Hood.
Mrs. Rinehardt graduated from Freedman High School in 1960 and was a Cosmetologist for many years. Annie was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting her family before herself and often strangers before herself as well. She had a big heart and was a caring considerate and giving person. She loved to cook and was known for feeding and caring for total strangers in her own home. She was called the “favorite Aunt” and enjoyed her family to the fullest.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Mrs. Rinehardt include her daughters, Teresa Harris of Jonesville, Shira Rinehardt of Statesville, Shire Rinehardt of Charlotte, and grandchildren, Ashland Harris, Aiyana Gray, Jayvilin Davis, Tevin Harris, Kyire Toney, Nyiesha Rinehardt, Lovit Perry and Azarie Ikard and a very special cousin, Miss Sallie Shell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Bishop Philmore Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Hoods Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
