Bethany lived a full and spectacular life.  She touched many.  She will be missed.

May the peace of God that exceeds our understanding keep your heart and mind. It is my prayer that the memories of this beautiful life give confirmation that God is faithful.

Larry and Vicki, your amazing faithfulness to provide the best care for Bethany on this side showed all of us God's grace to love and persevere daily for your kids. Many times, when a loved one passes on, survivors might question whether they did all they could, when they had the chance, to give their best towards the care of that person, and convey their love for her.  That doubt cannot occur in the June family, I know.  I have never seen so many years of constant dedication, effort and love showered on any one person as Vickie, Larry, Ben, Pat, Margaret, Linda, Reid and, most recently, her new sister Keturah (it is as if Bethany was waiting for her, isn't it?), showered on Bethany .  We saw Bethany coming and going with her entourage (including a small dog, like a ship's figurehead, pointing out the way on her lap), heard about dozens of therapies and treatments she was getting, some so obscure we knew Vickie had been doing lots of homework to find them.  Bethany was a very blessed girl, and her community also feels blessed to have known and loved her.  There is a sweet quality to our sadness at this time, given this understanding.  Bethany is free now to dance, just as those who loved her saw in her potential, and I hope they feel the peace that comes with knowing they did all that they could do towards that potential while she was here among us.
