Betty Faye Chapman

She was born on April 3, 1934 in Watauga County, NC to the late Albert Woodring and Bonnie Mae Davis Woodring.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bud Arnold and Edward Chapman; Brothers, Ray Woodring and TJ Woodring; Sisters, Ella Mae Turner and Ruth Greer.

Faye was surrounded by many family members and neighbors throughout her life. She loved life to its fullest and will be missed but we know she is in heaven.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Marsha Turner of Lenoir.

Also left to cherish her memory are numerous well loved, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor Mrs. Chapman will be held at Community Baptist Church in Lenoir on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Waitsel Beard and Rev. Frank Rash officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood St. Lenoir, NC 28645 or Community Baptist Church Missionary Fund at P.O Box 1139, Hudson, NC 28638.
