Mr. Lewis was born September 8, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was married to Kathy Holiday Lewis, was a retired Air Traffic Controller, and was of the Episcopal faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one son; Craig Lewis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Charles and wife Jacquline Lewis of the home and Christopher and wife Linda Lewis of Archer, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
At Mr. Billy Lewis’ request, there are no services scheduled.
The family requests that memorials be made in his memory to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
