Brenda Ann Church

Mrs. Church was born in Caldwell County on October 3, 1942 to the late Charlie and Nettie Bishop King. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Church.

She was retired from Broyhill Furniture Company and was a member of Grandview Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the choir.

Survivors include two daughters, Lee Ann Gragg and husband Jerry of Lenoir, NC, Elizabeth Bennett of Honeapath, SC; one son, Charles D. Clark and wife Jaime of Parker, CO., one brother, Kenneth Wayne King and wife Linda of Lewisville, NC; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; and special friend, Richard Sheline of Marion, NC.

A funeral service for Mrs. Church will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Grandview Park Baptist Church at 4:30 pm with Reverend Raymond Spann officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm prior to the service at the Church. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Carroll Greene, Jeff Gragg, Ken Cooper, Todd King, Ronnie Clark and Mark Roland.
