Clare Patricia Andersen

Pat was born on January 23, 1929, in Indiana to the late Leo and Rachel Goodwin.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Irving Andersen, sister “Micki” Strayer (husband Edward) and brother Wes Goodwin (wife Jackie).

Left to cherish Pat's memory are her nephews Larry Strayer (wife Mary) and Jon Strayer (wife Christine), and niece Wendy Goodwin.

Pat will be remembered for being a loving wife, special Aunt, a dear friend to many, a great neighbor, baking bread, writing letters, and a member of Crest View Baptist Church.

Pat was a long time volunteer at the Caldwell County Public Library.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd., Lenoir, NC 28645. The family will receive friends for half an hour prior from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Crest View Baptist Church, 1908 Blowing Rock Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645 or Caldwell County Public Library, 120 Hospital Ave NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
