Mr. Horton was born in Caldwell County on July 10, 1990 to Danny Horton and Pamela Pyles Horton.
Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Carlton and his maternal grandmother, Jane Pruitt.
Daniel was a loving and devoted son and brother. He worked in the furniture industry and attended church at Chesterfield Church of God. He loved to draw and enjoyed spending time fishing. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Danny Snipes of Albany, Georgia, Bradley Phillips and wife Jessica of Lenoir, sister, Darissa Horton of Lenoir, paternal grandmother, Lulabell Carlton of Lenoir, maternal grandfather, Hasten Pyles Jr. of Elkin, an aunt, Ann Patterson and husband Shell of Lenoir, uncles, Jeffrey Pyles and wife Deborah of Yadkinville and James Horton and wife Nan of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Also left to cherish his memory is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Elder Robert Hayes officiating. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
Family members will serve as pallbearers and flower girls.
