Mrs. Sudderth was born in Caldwell County to the late Annie Day Knox and James A. Knox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Sudderth. She was retired from the Lenoir City School System where she taught for 34 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lenoir.
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Jessie S. Ford of Lenoir and Lela S. Blackburn of Summerville, SC, and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Belleview Cemetery.
