Frances Thomason Swallows

Mrs. Swallows was born in Fentress, Tennessee to the late Will Thomason and Willie Burden Thomason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank C. Swallows; brothers, Henry and Chuck Thomason; sisters, Jewell Elmore, Eva Elmore, Linnie Boles, Katie Boles and Lula Mays.

She worked for Connie Lee Hosiery and was a member of Indian Hills Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Douglas Cantor of the home; her sons, Donald William Swallows and wife Sheila of Hudson and Darrell Elmore and wife Trudy of Whitwell, TN; her daughters, Rebecca S. Young of Whitnel and Renee S. Deese of Hudson; sisters, Neva Palmer Russell of Rosswell, GA, Jeanette Johnson of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren and one step-grandchild; her beloved Shi-Tzu pet and companion, Snowball.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Bryan Davis and Reverend Tony Harris officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Indian Hills Baptist Church.
