Fred Steven Sipes

Fred Steven Sipes, age 69 of Lenoir, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Born Thursday, January 26, 1953 to the late Robert and Mary Mahaffey Sipes in Lenoir, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sipes is proceeded in death by his two brothers Jerry and Ralph Sipes.

He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Cummings Sipes of the home. One brother Bobby Sipes and sister Judy McMahan. Fred also leaves behind four grandchildren and one great grandchild, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Sipes, will be remembered for his big heart and love for people. He enjoyed making everyone happy. He will be greatly missed by all.

The Sipes family will receive friends Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.

The Memorial Service for Fred will follow on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Bobby Pritchard will officiant.

Burial will take place at a later date, at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
