Freda L Clement

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly amazing soul, Freda Nations Clement, age 97, of Lenoir, North Carolina, who departed from this world on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. She was a beacon of love and kindness, whose compassion knew no bounds.

She had an unparalleled ability to love unconditionally, embracing everyone she met with warmth and sincerity. Her kindness extended far beyond the confines of her family, touching the lives of friends, neighbors, and strangers alike.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and patience that will continue to shape the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless hearts she touched.

Freda is survived by her daughters Linda McGee (Donnie), Carol Snider, and Sherry Stewart (Larry), her sons Paul Clement (Margaret) and Jerry Clement (Rita), 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Robert Clement, her parents Grady and Myrtle Nations, four brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 29th at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with a burial afterwards at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Amorem Hospice. Freda was cared for by her loving daughters Linda and Carol as well as the wonderful staff at Amorem, Katie, Joanie, Maggie, Laura, and Kelley.
