She was born August 20, 1939 in Caldwell County to the late Stacy Davis and Mabel Burdell Gragg Davis.
Geraldine loved her family. Taking care of her family was her main goal. She loved visiting the mountains and going on family beach trips.
She is preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Benny Walsh of the home, Sons; David Walsh and wife Michelle, of Granite Falls, Darrin Walsh and wife Elaine, of Lenoir, Daughters; Teresa Walsh Cox and husband Jeff, of Charlotte, Cindy Walsh Philyaw and husband Jesse, of Lenoir, Brothers; Sam Davis and Steve Davis, both of Lenoir, Sister, Barbara Bryant, of Hudson, along with six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren
A Funeral Service will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church of Lenoir at 3:30pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 with Rev. Sam Craven, Rev. Don Ingle and Rev. Jeff Lambert officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
