Gregory Eugene Baker, 61 of Hudson passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. Greg was born August 17, 1960 in Lenoir, North Carolina to the late Hubert and Barbara Baker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Baker.

Greg could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He worked as a welder/fabricator and always took pride in his work, no one could detail a car like him. He loved sports and never missed a UNC basketball game. He was a loving and caring brother, father, grandfather, and coach.

He is survived by his partner, Kim Trivette, a son, Wesley Baker and wife Mary-Margaret, a daughter, Ashley Richardson and husband Kieran, a brother, Jeff Baker, and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Sullivan, Meara, Connor, and Aura James.

At Gregory’s request, no services will be held.
