Helen Mae Price Pinson, 90, of Lenoir died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Pinson was born in Caldwell County to the late Randolph Price and Dora West Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Elwood S. Pinson, two brothers, Colin and James Price; two sisters, Marie Price and Grace Dickson.

She was retired from Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was a life long member of College Avenue Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Group.

Survivors include her sons, Roger Pinson and wife Sylvia of Lenoir and Richard Pinson of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Jonathan Pinson and Sharon Pinson Dawkins; two great grandchildren, Asa and Shelby Pinson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend David Everette officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Sadler, Larry Price, Charles Price, Jeremiah Price, Timothy Moore and James Moore, Jr.

Pendry’s Funeral Home is assisting the Pinson family with arrangements.
