Jacqueline Setzer Harris

Jacqueline Setzer Harris, age 96, of Lenoir, passed away on December 23, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born on July 26, 1929, in Catawba County to the late Clyde Setzer and Pearl McDaniel Setzer.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Cecil Harris, her brother Douglas Setzer, and her sister Becky Biggs (husband Bill).

Left to cherish Jackie's memory are her two sons Terrell Harris (wife Arleen) of Apex, NC, and Timothy Harris (wife Wanda) of Lenoir; her five grandchildren Brandon Harris, Preston Harris, Jennifer Harris, Jordan Harris (wife Taylor), and Jacie Harris Baird (husband Patrick); her two great-grandchildren Griffin Baird and Stevie Baird; her sisters-in-law Barbara Harris, Carolyn Harris, and Nellie Prevette; and several nephews and nieces.

Jackie was a devoted, lifetime member of College Avenue Baptist Church. She worked at Hibriten Chair for many years and at Grand Manor Furniture. She was an incredibly loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her life.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at College Avenue Baptist Church, 1201 College Ave SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at College Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Earl Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
