James David Faulkner

James David Faulkner, 81, of Sawmills, NC, passed away on Sunday, July, 17, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 30, 1934 in Bessemer City, NC to the late Carrie Luetta Black and James Henry Faulkner.

Mr. Faulkner was an electrician all his life before retiring in 1996.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Faulkner and step-son, Larry Watson. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Diane Beaver and Jay David “Junior” Faulkner; his step-children, Charlene Reese of Statesville, Elaine Drum and her husband, Larry of Sawmills, Greg and Debbie Williams of Sawmills, and James “Peanut” Williams of Sawmills; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and 5 step-grandchildren.

A Service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at Sunrise Baptist Church, 2634 Mission Rd., Hudson, NC with the Reverend David Woods officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
