James Harold Spears

Harold was Baptist by faith and the owner of Spears Backhoe and Grading.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Sherree’ White Spears of the Home; a son, Cory Shane Davenport, wife Nicole, of Lenoir; a daughter, Andrea Leigh Davenport and special friend, Wade Boyles, of Marion; a sister, Nancy Diane Spears of Lenoir; four brothers, Larry Spears (wife Fannie), Dwane Spears (wife Millie), Donnie Spears of Lenoir, and Doug Spears (wife Janet) of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Katelin Renee’ Davenport and Olivia Jean Davenport; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services for Harold will be held on Thursday, May 29 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Pendry’s Funeral Home with Rev. Don Ingle officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Nazareth Advent Christian Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Spears, Dustin Spears, Keith Spears, Roger Spears, David Spears, and Edward Spears. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
