James Clifton Vaughan II

Mr. Vaughan was born July 15, 1960 in Cook County, Illinois to the late James Vaughan and Joyce Handley Vaughan.

Mr. Vaughan was employed by Bernhardt Furniture for nearly 30 years. He was an avid deer hunter and he loved the outdoors. His grandchildren were his heart, and they loved him dearly.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, James Clifton Vaughan III and wife Jessica, daughter, Melissa Vaughan Hoston and husband Marvin . He also leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren, Mathayus Vaughan Hoston, James Clifton Vaughan IV, Tavius Garner Vaughan Hoston, Marcelus Vaughan Hoston, Jayleigh Levi Rechelle Vaughan and His girlfriend, Malia Kirby, brother, Johnathon Vaughan, twin sister, Dorothy Teague, older siblings, sister, Niya Cross, Vichelle Frazier and brother Robert Handley.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Funeral Home with Mr. Eain Kirby officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
